The Human Resources Administrator is at the core of this task. They collaborate closely with every employee at Reveal. The Human Resource Administrator must be a natural communicator and must connect well with candidates and employees. They are empathetic and play a key role in fostering a culture of high performance.
Reveal is entering the most exciting phase since its inception. We are transiting from a startup to a commercial organization. The right candidate understands that the initial phase of this position will require a hands-on approach. This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Develop and continuously improve the HR Department at Reveal. This role will be an integral participant in developing systems and tools for efficient HR administration.
- Maintains a human resource system that meets management information needs and oversees the administration.
- Function as primary resource with our PMO. Responsible for maximizing the PMO.
- Manages all bi-weekly payroll including hourly pay, vacation, sick time, commission, car allowance, bonus, and related payroll activities.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to ensure the initial employee experience is positive and establishes a relationship with new employees for questions and support.
- Manages all employee onboarding including employee announcements.
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
- Coordinates management training
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee policies.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Works closely with PMO’s and employees about policies and programs.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Together with the PMO – Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, 401K plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews.
- Embody and deliver the “Exceptional Every day.”
Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Human Resource Management. HR Certifications a plus – SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of Human Resource experience in a professional office environment including at least 3 years working in a startup environment.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and employment law, employee Benefit Administration, HRIS and Payroll.
- Experience scaling a startup team.
